The end of the academic year is the ideal time to get your Career Center ready for the next one. The following article aims to help you organize and prepare your Career Center for the upcoming year.
To facilitate the completion of the tasks, we have divided the content into three main categories: Companies Relations, Student Support and Administrative Check-Up.
*Some actions presented below need to be done by your JobTeaser contact. We have identified them as follows: "(JT)". Do not hesitate to get in contact with your main interlocutor in order to carry these actions.
1/ COMPANIES RELATIONS
COMPANIES MODULE

Review your strategy with your partner companies
- Review and/or modify your different partnership levels (JT)
- Verify which level, if any, has access to your Talent Bank (JT)
- Review the personalised messages added to public company profiles for your students
- Review the current messages shared in the login pages of company profiles and recruiters profiles. Modify them if needed (JT)
- Manually change a recruiter account into a company profile account (link)

- Review your active tags. Modify them if needed (JT)
- Encourage companies to upload opportunities in an autonomous way using one of the two links available to them

- Archive past events and deactivate drafts for next year
- Pre-create inactive event templates that can be later used to duplicate and easily create new events

- Close all temporary Talent Banks
- Erase CV collections that are no longer useful

STUDENT PROFILE
- Useful Links: make sure all useful links shared with your students are up-to-date

Prepare a "New academic year" communication for your students:
- To new users

To already registered users:
- CV update
- Check their program and graduation year (i.e. to select ('Alumni' if they have now graduated)
- Review and update their search criteria
RESOURCES MODULE
- Review & update if necessary the name and/or welcome message
- Review current content: deactivate what is no longer relevant, review targeted programs, etc
APPOINTMENTS MODULE
- Review the welcome message: you can, for example, add a 'summer break' note with the period of time when there won't be any sessions
- Check & update, if needed, active advisor's profiles
- Review & modify, if needed, the types of appointments
- Make sure there are no active availabilities for the period you will be off
- You can already add your availabilities for next academic year

NEWSLETTER MODULE
- Personalize the title of your weekly Newsletter (JT)
- Review & update if needed the introductory message of your weekly Newsletter
- Some ideas to personalize the introductory message of your newsletter for the beginning of the new academic year:
- Present/introduce the career services team
- Remind students the need to update/complete their profiles as seen on the previous slide
- Promote first events of the year (welcome days, introduction week, etc) sharing the registration link

- Use data available on the Statistics module to understand the needs of students and companies better

- Check if the list of programs needs updating to better identify your students. Please remember, this module is only available in the back office of Super Administrators.
