You can grant prospective apprenticeship candidates early access to your Career Center to help them secure work-study or apprenticeship placements prior to formal enrollment. Depending on your institution's authentication configuration, JobTeaser provides tailored paths to safely onboard these candidates into your ecosystem.
Prerequisites: Program Module Configuration
Before sharing access links, ensure your candidates can assign themselves to an active academic program during registration.
Navigate to the Programs module in your admin portal.
Add one or more dedicated programs for prospective apprentices.
💡 Tip: Only Super-Administrators have access to the Programs module. Configuring specific programs allows you to target targeted content (events, job offers, articles) and generate detailed reporting analytics.
Selecting Your Authentication Configuration
Choose the procedure below that corresponds to your Career Center's current authentication system:
🔽Option 1: Open Access Career Centers
If your Career Center uses open access, candidates can create an account directly.
Share your standard Career Center registration URL with your apprenticeship candidates.
Direct candidates to complete the registration form and select their dedicated program.
⚠️ Warning: Candidates who register but ultimately do not enroll at your institution will retain active accounts. Send a list of email addresses to your dedicated Customer Experience Team once a year to perform a batch account deletion.
🔽Option 2: Institutional Email Address Recognition
If your Career Center restricts registration to specific email domain formats (e.g., @institution.fr), select the scenario that matches your candidates' status:
Scenario 1: Candidates already hold standard institutional email addresses
Share your primary Career Center registration URL directly with candidates.
Scenario 2: Candidates hold institutional email addresses with an alternative domain format
Contact your Customer Experience Team with the new email domain format.
Wait for confirmation that the domain rule has been added to your system.
Share the Career Center registration URL with your candidates.
Scenario 3: Candidates do not yet have an institutional email address
Submit a request to your Customer Experience Team to temporary enable open access for a designated duration (e.g., 2 weeks, 1 month, or 6 months).
Share the standard Career Center URL with candidates once temporary open access is active.
💡 Tip: For accounts created during temporary open access periods, you can send an email list to your Customer Experience Team annually to remove un-enrolled user profiles.
🔽Option 3: Single Sign-On (SSO) Authentication
If your institution uses SSO authentication, choose between the following setups based on candidate credential availability:
Scenario 1: Candidates have active SSO credentials
Send your standard SSO Career Center login link directly to candidates.
Scenario 2: Candidates do not have SSO credentials
Submit a request to your Customer Experience Team to temporary enable open access for a designated duration (e.g., 2 weeks, 1 month, or 6 months).
Share the standard Career Center URL with candidates once temporary open access is active.
💡 Tip: The primary advantage of Scenario 2 is instant implementation. However, other users may use your link to create an account on your Career Center during this time as well. You may submit an annual list of un-enrolled account emails to your Customer Experience Team for removal.
