Once the pathway is published in Studio, administrators must enroll students in the pathway. Remember this is a mandatory step, otherwise, students will simply not be able to view and complete the pathway.
Enrollment is not mandatory for ready-made career guidance modules. Students can view and start modules without being enrolled (and when they start a module, they are by default considered as “enrolled” in it). Notwithstanding, enrolling students in specific career guidance modules is recommended as it allows administrators to tailor educational content to meet their students’ specific needs, ensuring they have access to the most relevant career guidance modules.
Enrolling / Unrolling Students
These are the steps to follow:
- Prerequisite: prepare a .csv file containing student email addresses for enrollment. Only one “email” column is needed.
- Go to the pathway or ready-made career guidance module
- Click on “Manage enrollments”
- Click on “Enroll students” or “Unenroll students”
- Import a .csv file containing a single column of student email addresses
- A confirmation message will display the number of users found in the file. Click “Enroll” again to finalize the process. A confirmation message will appear once the students are enrolled.
View the list of enrolled students
To verify which students are enrolled for a specific module or pathway:
- Go to the pathway or the module and click on “Manage enrollments”
- Click on “Download the list of enrolled students”
The .csv file contains three columns: “emails”, “name” and “last name”: If a line includes all three fields, it indicates that the user has accessed Career Explorer at least once. If a line contains only the email, it indicates that the user has never accessed Career Explorer.
