Career Explorer access was designed to be completely frictionless for both university administrators and students. This is why the tool is embedded directly into the JobTeaser Career Center platform, no need to enter separate passwords or navigate to external websites. The tool is fully responsive and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile web browsers.
1. Administrator access
The Career Explorer package includes 3 administrator licenses. The licenses are typically assigned to career advisors, administrative or pedagogical staff. The licences allow administrators to build custom pathways, enroll students in courses and modules, and track and export engagement and progress analytics. Please note that extra licences have an additional cost. If your team requires additional administrator licenses, please contact JobTeaser's Customer Experience team at support.careercenter@jobteaser.com.
When we activate Career Explorer in your Career Center, we give you access to the 3 administrators licenses (you will need to give us 3 user email addresses of your choice). Once the activation is done, the Career Explorer tab will be displayed in the back-office of these 3 administrators. Simply log in to your JobTeaser Career Center, and click on the Career Explorer tab on the left.
2. Student access
Students access Career Explorer directly within their Career Center portal without entering separate passwords or navigating to external websites. Once logged into their Career Center they can navigate from the homepage to the Toolbox tab and select Career Explorer.
It is mandatory for administrators to enroll students in customized pathways that are created specifically for the institution’s students. Otherwise, students will simply not be able to view and complete pathways.
Enrollment is however not mandatory for ready-made career guidance modules. Students can view and start modules without being enrolled. Notwithstanding, enrolling students in specific career guidance modules is recommended as it allows administrators to tailor educational content to meet their students’ specific needs, ensuring they have access to the most relevant career guidance modules.
