How to set up TalentConnect ⚙️

Your institution is preparing to use TalentConnect for an upcoming recruitment event. This page provides a step-by-step guide to setting it up. Here are the different steps:

 

1. Create your event on the Career Center 🏫

There are no changes to the usual process for creating an event on JobTeaser. If you need help, you can consult this Help Center page.

We recommend adding a personalized message for students in the dedicated fields:

Personalized message:

“Add the latest version of your resume to your profile and fill in all your information and search criteria. This will be available to recruiters when you introduce yourself on the day of the event. On the day of the event: to share your resume and profile, simply give your first and last name or email address to the recruiter, who will be able to find you instantly.”

 

2. Activate TalentConnect for the event 🚀

On the event page, you will see the TalentConnect tab on the right-hand side. Click on “Start” to activate it for this event. Your event page can remain inactive if you do not want it visible to students yet — this does not affect TalentConnect activation.

 

3. Give access to companies or employers who will participate 🏢

Important note: Adding companies in TalentConnect is separate from adding a company page on the event page. Both procedures are useful:

  • Adding companies in TalentConnect is mandatory and allows recruiters to use the solution on the day of the event.

  • Adding companies to the event page (via the “Business partners” feature) allows students to see the attending companies’ content (page, job ads, etc.). Optional but improves the student experience.

 

Steps to give companies access:

  1. Click on the TalentConnect tab → Step 1: Inform companies

  2. Add one or more contact points for each company by entering their email address in the field ✉️

 

Scenarios after adding an email:

  • Email associated with a single company → automatically linked; just validate the contact point. ✅

  • Email associated with several companies → select the correct company from the drop-down menu and confirm.

  • Email not associated with any company → manually select a company from the drop-down, or request a new company via the form below.

 

Important note: After adding a contact, each contact receives an automatic email informing them that TalentConnect will be used. A second reminder email is sent automatically one day before the event.

Template of the email sent to your company contacts is included in the system.

 

Once the tool setup is finalized, the next step is to communicate with your students and companies. This is essential to ensure the success of TalentConnect at your event. We will look at this in the next article
