The AI-powered CV Checker on JobTeaser transforms the management of applications by automating CV validation. This feature has two main objectives: improving the quality of students’ CVs and increasing their number in the permanent CV database. This guide will help you understand how to make the most of this tool to save time and enhance students’ employability.
1. Objectives of the CV Checker
The AI-powered CV Checker on JobTeaser serves two primary objectives:
Improve CV Quality: By providing precise feedback, it helps students optimize their CV before applying.
Increase the Number of CVs in the Talent Bank: CVs validated by AI are automatically added to the permanent Talent Bank, increasing candidates' visibility to recruiters.
2. Benefits for Advisors
Administrators and advisors in charge of student support directly benefit from this feature:
Save Time: The manual process of CV validation is automated, allowing advisors to focus on higher-value tasks.
Enhance Employability: With a greater number of quality CVs, students have more chances to be noticed by recruiters.
3. How the CV Checker Works
The CV Checker is automatically activated when a CV linked to a student’s profile is uploaded. This includes several scenarios:
First Login: During onboarding, a student uploading their CV for the first time will immediately benefit from the analysis.
Return to Platform: If a student returns and updates their CV, it will also be verified.
Application: If a student chooses to link their CV to their main profile during an application, it will be analyzed.
Important Note: CVs uploaded during an application but not linked to the student’s profile will not be considered by the AI and will not appear in the Talent Bank.
4. Notifications and Student Tracking
Every time a student uploads their CV, a notification informs them that the document will be analyzed by AI. This transparency prepares the student for the evaluation of their CV.
The main notifications are:
Onboarding: A message notifies that the CV will be automatically checked.
Student Profile: A list of evaluation criteria is displayed for greater clarity.
-
AI Analysis: The analysis can take up to one minute. After that, the following actions are taken:
Email sent to the student: A summary of results with the criteria or an email indicating whether the CV has been accepted or rejected, depending on your tool’s configuration.
Student Profile Update: The validated CV is stored with its evaluation visible directly on the student’s profile.
Talent Bank and Back Office Update: The CV is added to the Talent Bank with an "accepted" or "rejected" status. Administrators can consult the detailed diagnostic from the back office.
5. CV Evaluation Criteria
The AI-powered CV Checker uses a combination of mandatory and secondary criteria to evaluate each CV. Mandatory criteria must be 100% filled out, while at least 75% of the secondary criteria must be met for the CV to be accepted.
Why two different messages?
The system distinguishes between mandatory criteria (which are required for acceptance) and secondary criteria (which are more flexible but important for CV optimization). If mandatory criteria are missing or fewer than 75% of secondary criteria are met, the CV will be rejected.
6. When Should a CV Be Improved?
The AI rejects a CV if:
Not all 7 mandatory criteria are met.
Fewer than 10 secondary criteria are met.
In this case, the student will receive a notification outlining the elements they need to correct.
7. Administrator Tracking
As an administrator, you can view accepted or rejected CVs from the Talent Bank module in your Back Office. This allows you to accept pending or rejected CVs if you deem it necessary.
