The AI powered CV checker will automate the manual CV validation flow in the permanent talent bank.
Its two goals are to 1) improve the quality of CVs and 2) increase the number of CVs in the talent bank.
Why is that an advantage for the career service admin?
1) The career service admin will be able to save time and focus on other more relevant tasks and 2) more good quality CVs in the talent bank will increase the employability of students.
But how does this feature work?
If the manual validation flow is activated, it will automatically be replaced by the automated validation flow. Otherwise the career service admin can reach out to their contact person at JobTeaser to activate the flow.
If the flow is activated and the CC admin enters the permanent talent bank, a pop up will highlight the number of CVs that have been checked by AI.
The CVs checked by AI can be found in the "All" tab. All CVs that have been validated/refused by AI will be marked by a magic stick icon.
Eg.
If the CC admin doesn't agree with the decision taken by AI, he or she can simply click on the other button. In both cases an email will be triggered to inform the student about the choice.
Next to the email, the student will get informed in the front office about the results, there are two possible info messages 1) "Your CV needs improvement" and 2) "Your CV can be improved" by clicking on the info message, the student will see all criteria that need improvement.
Why do we have two different info messages? To perform checks, we decide in mandatory and secondary criteria. If one of the mandatory criteria isn't confirmed, the CV will be refused. A minimum of 75% of the secondary criteria must be reached otherwise the CV will also be refused.
These are the criteria, we use the evaluate CVs:

Please keep in mind that checks are only realized on CVs uploaded from the profile module. If a CV gets rejected by AI, the CV will still appear in the profile of the student.
How does the AI know if a CV needs improvement?
Whenever a student uploads their CV, the AI will review it, and the student will be informed via email whether their CV needs improvement or not.
The rule that helps the AI determine if a CV needs improvement is as follows:
A CV is accepted only when 100% of Mandatory criteria AND 75% of Secondary criteria are met.
There are a total of 20 criteria:
- 7 Mandatory criteria;
- 13 Secondary criteria;
This means that for a CV to not be considered as needing improvement, it must:
- Always comply with all 7 Mandatory criteria;
- Comply with at least 10 Secondary criteria;
If the CV meets the criteria above, the student will receive an email confirming its acceptance. Otherwise, the student will receive a notification indicating that their CV must be improved, along with details on what needs to be improved according to the missing criteria.
